MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) and HDF (High-Density Fiberboard) are engineered wood products made from wood fibers or other plant fibers. These fibers are bonded with urea-formaldehyde resin or other synthetic resins and compressed under heat and pressure to achieve densities ranging between 0.50 to 0.88 g/cm³. Additives such as fire retardants and waterproof agents can also be incorporated to enhance the material’s performance for specialized applications.
MDF board, or medium-density fiberboard, is an engineered wood product. It is produced to high technical specifications, with a fine and smooth surface.
HDF board, or high-density fiberboard is an engineered wood product made of fibers. It is formed by grinding and hot pressing the submerged wood and combining it with urea-formaldehyde resin or other adhesives.
